At Santa Gema Galgani School and the San Leandro Parish, the season of Lent has begun with the celebration of Ash Wednesday. This day marks the beginning of a period of reflection and spiritual preparation.
During the celebration, the importance of "stopping and repairing" our lives was recalled, similar to taking a car to the garage for a checkup. The school's students received ashes on their foreheads as a symbol of humility and repentance.
Lent is a time to examine our hearts, ask for forgiveness, and grow in love and peace, preparing for the celebration of Easter. For this reason, throughout the month of March, our students have the opportunity to participate in the sacrament of confession or have a spiritual conversation with the parish priests, which will undoubtedly help them grow as individuals.
