SCHOOL NURSE

The school has a nursing service managed by SCHOOLNURSES.es, whose primary role is to attend to both occasional and ongoing health needs of all students and to oversee overall health care at the school. The service uses SNAPP, a secure digital tool for monitoring interventions and maintaining students’ medical records.

• Qualified, expert staff authorised to act in the critical first minutes of an emergency.

• Administration of treatment and care for children with chronic or acute illnesses, including both regular and occasional needs.

• Early diagnosis or evaluation of conditions that could become critical.

• Monitoring and enforcement of prevention measures, food allergy risks in the school dining hall and other school events or areas.

• Health education in collaboration with teachers, including family workshops and health advisory services.

• Disease control, response protocols, and management of epidemiological risks, also forming part of the emergency and risk prevention team.

• Management and oversight of the nursing office and medical kits, secure and confidential custody of medical histories, test support, analyses, and action reports.
