At our Early Childhood School “Santa Gemita,” we not only focus on care by meeting all our little ones’ needs—healthy and balanced nutrition, constant and direct communication with families, immediate assistance from healthcare professionals and our Guidance Department—we also place great importance on the holistic development of our children through learning experiences that help them grow and understand the world around them. Our activities are designed to stimulate their abilities and enhance different areas of development, awakening their senses to help them build perceptions and respond to stimuli that foster reasoning and action.
A key element of this approach is our neuromotor program, which helps children develop skills that promote self-awareness and understanding of their surroundings through movement. From the age of two, motor development is further supported through swimming classes.
Our methodology is based on project-based learning and is enriched with sensory workshops and play areas, where children are the main protagonists—playing, discovering, and transforming materials that help them construct meaningful learning.
With these activities, the educator acts as a guide, encouraging or introducing challenges, changes, and new elements so children can interact freely and be capable of discovering and experimenting on their own.
At Santa Gemita, those first steps on their educational journey are truly special moments.
